Best Perch in town

The Redwood has, by far, the best perch fry in Green Bay. It is hand breaded everyday. Very fresh. You will not be disappointed by the taste of this perch fry.

To the person who said their takeout was soggy:

If you are doing take out perch and french fries, you would be stupid not to think it is going to get soggy... fried food sitting in a styrofoam container = condensation=soggy. duh.

Best Friday-night Fish Fry we've had since "being up nort'"!!! As long as you don't mind the crowd (that alone tells you it's great food) and the owners/waitstaff being brusque (can't blame them with how busy they are) you will get the best fish fry around! Go there with a LOT of friends, have a few drinks, and celebrate life in a big small-town tavern. The atmosphere is jovial and the food well worth the wait. Don't go there if all you want is paperboard food from a typical restaurant chain because all they serve you here is FRESH, HOT and DELICIOUS!!!

• Pros: Really amazing food and terrific prices. Fun place
• Cons: Crowded and the waitstaff is rather terse, but who cares? I can handle it.

HORRIBLE OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT

We picked up a carry out fish fry. When we got home, the fries were soggy and everything was cold! How disgusting and frustrating to say the least!!! The fish fry's were obviously sitting out for a long time before we picked them up. Paid $24 for the two fish frys (remember not a reasonable price). Went back and politely asked for either an new fish fry or my money back (I didn't just pay $24 for a bad fish fry). I believe it was the owner I spoke with and he was very nasty about asking me what was wrong with it. He said he would give me my money back and here are his exact words "PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR AND DO NOT COME BACK HERE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now tell me that's not horrible management/ownership. I would definitely NOT recommend going to the Redwood Inn. If they continue to treat customers the way they did to me, they will be closed down soon! I understand they were busy, BUT the situation was not handled in a professional manner. Apparently they don't care about their customers.
