Love this place...

I just started going to Moda Bella after I had a coupon for a make over for only $60. I have very long hair and I was very scared. Well I just love it, she colored it a beautiful brown and gave me bangs (that I love) Its still long too:) I had a great time, the staff was so nice, I really enjoyed the time I spent there. The customer service was great, she understood what I wanted and the best was she didn't cut off too much. I need it long. I can't believe that anyone would have a bad experience. It was a awesome deal and I look wonderful!!

If I could choose ZERO stars - I would!

A close friend of mine is a regular of the salon.

One day she asked to have her eye brows pucked.

They insisted they wax them.

And she subsequently received a first degree burn on her left eye lid from the wax a week before a big event.

On disclosing their error - they outright REFUSED that they burned her eyelid - and gave the whole "our wax is soy based and it never burns" line - nearly claiming that she had burned her own eyelid.

The most horrendous customer service I've ever witnessed.

My hair always looks great!!!

I just found this listing and had to write a comment about the review that said that she had a bad experience at Moda Bella Salon. I have been going to them for 6 years and I was surprised to read that anyone would not be happy with how friendly they are. IF YOU HAVE EVER BEEN THERE, it is great. I have to believe that a competitor wrote some of the comments. I own a small business too and understand how they would feel intimidated on how great Moda Bella is. First I had to laugh, if a beautician could cut, blow-dry and curl someone?s hair in 7 minutes WOW they must be a magician!! My lady is the highest priced and I pay $37 for a great shampoo and condition, haircut, blow-dry and curling iron style. My color on my roots is only $50. They do have a great atmosphere but it is the ladies that make me go back. They are very friendly and always make me feel welcome. Plus my hair always looks great!!!
