Excellent Realtor

Marina Solo has been our realtor for almost 10 years. She helped us sell our first home. She sold our house to the first person that looked at it, and made the experience very painless. A few years later she came to our new house and helped us determine what the value of our house was.
A few years ago I had the pleasure of dealing with Marina again for the third time. My sister was interested in purchasing some land on a lake up north. We were not sure what step to take first, so I contacted Marina and she helped my sister purchase the land. She went out of her way to help us get this land after there was a previous offer place by another party the same day as my sister placed her offer. Marina is an excellent realtor and i would recomend her to anyone looking for someone to help them sell or purchase their dream home.

Unprofessional Realtor

Marina Solo was the listing agent on a home we were VERY interested in purchasing and were willing to be negotiable on price. She made alot of verbal commitments, but NEVER followed through. We had sent her an offer, and she sent back a counter offer with NO signatures. We wanted to take the higher road so we came back with another signed counter offer to her unsigned offer. Well, she started blaming our agent for killing the negotiations and saying he had screwed it up. Um no, you must not understand that THINGS NEED TO BE SIGNED TO BE LEGAL HERE!?! We never received a signed counter offer from her or the sellers. We then sent over ANOTHER counter offer to hopefully make things easier, well they once again countered with NO signatures. She supposedly "met" with the sellers. How could you not get their signatures. Like other reviewers said very poor communication. I will NEVER look at a house listed by her or her company and I will make sure that word is spread. I would be leary of some of the postitive reviews on here, one of them looks like a survey one of their clients filled out and Marina put on here herself. Another review by a "Tracy Ferris" is an EXACT wording review of her on another site....hmmmmm...... She has violated several of the standards in the Realtors' Code of Ethics.

poor communication

We worked with Marina on a home sale and another land listing. While she seemed like a go getter initially, it soon became clear that she was poor on follow through and communication. She did not return emails and the only contacts from her for many months were her looking for help finding rentals for someone. I finally asked her to call me with an update after a long pause(as she never did this without me asking), and she went into a tirade about us not accepting an offer more than a year ago. Whether or not we should have was besides the point. We never knew her feelings on it until now. She then hung up on me! I would steer clear of her. We never felt that we could really trust her.

Exceptional service!

Marina sold our house in 2 months for only $1,000 less than the asking price! We sold and bought 3 houses with Marina Solo and always receive exceptional service from her and her team.

Marina solo is worthless as an agent!

If i could wish one person out of this state it would be Marina! Dragging her feet for over 6 months as a selling agent, after that i have avoided any forsale sign with her name on it.... sad that a home owner house listed wouldnt even be considered. Keep your expectations low and she might make you happy!
