Great Place.
I had a carving for Chinese, after consulting Google, I selected this restaurant. Our family ordered sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and crab rangoons for takeout (totaling $22). When I came by to pick up our food, I discovered the restaurant is no longer called Peking House (it is located right next to another Chinese restaurant-Mayflower). A charming, young couple has purchased the restaurant (as of May, 2010). They were extremely friendly. Looking at their menu, I perceive they specialize in Thai food.
Even though I was ordering takeout, I did notice the dining area, it appeared suitable.
The food itself was scrumptious. Not as fatty as some Chinese restaurants. Portion sizes were large. I recommend this restaurant and plan to return myself.

Delicious Unique Chinese, Friendly Service, Nice Atmosphere, Underappreciated.
This is my favorite non-fast food Chinese restaurant. Every time I have gone there it is almost empty, and I do not understand why. The prices are slightly higher than those of a fast food Chinese restaurant, but the food, service, and atmosphere are excellent. The waitstaff is always friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for the food, but it is so worth it once you taste the food. My husband and I love this restaurant so much we had our rehearsal dinner here for our wedding. All our guests enjoyed the food and remarked how generous the portions were and delicious the food was. I truly believe this place is underappreciated. It is a hidden gem in Green Bay!
