My experience with J&J Electronics has been terrible. I have worked in customer service for more than 20 years and know good & bad service. J&J has over promised and under delivered on every single aspect of my customer experience. Over the phone, their technician told me he had the exact TV I have (a 42" projection TV) and had a pretty good idead of what my issue was based on my description over the phone. He originally quoted me a repair price $1-250 lower than what it has ended up to be(not disclosing a fee they charge for diagnosis at all !!). They told me it would take a short time (5-10 business days) to diagnose my issue and then I would be contacted. After fifteen business days ( and never having heard from them), I called back to find out what needed to be done (which is when I found out it would cost much more than originally thought due to what needed to actually needed to be repaired). I was OK with the extra cost and approved J&J to move ahead. I asked how long it would take and was told 2-3 weeks. After FOUR weeks, I once again initiated a call to J&J and was told "the part is on back order and we cannot possibly know when the part will come in". At this piont I was getting VERY frustrated and asked to be contacted as to what alternatives they might have. AGAIN - no response until I called back 3 days later. After leaving several voicemail messages, I was finally told an alternate vendor for the part that was needed had been found and the part would be in within 5-7 days. Again, I asked to be contacted when it arrived. Again, I was not. On day 8, I followed up by phone again and was told the part in fact shipped out and would be in "soon" and I would get top priority when it arrived. Again, I asked to be contacted when it came in as I was going to be on vacation and needed to make plans to have it picked up if it was done while I was gone. No surprise - Iwas not contacted. When I called - I was hung up on. INCREDIBLY BAD SERVICE !!!!

Pros: None

Cons: Terrible service from every possible customer angle.
